NEXTing Note (10/13/25)
God does not want you to live in your pain; He wants you to live through your pain. Do you recognize your pain points? Does your pain ever render you immobile, unable to move into what’s next?

What you say to yourself matters. The words or stories you tell yourself can be the difference between staying where you are and moving forward towards your next. Does your self-talk strengthen and encourage you?
The truth is, we will face disappointment, discomfort, and setbacks while NEXTing. However, failing or losing in our life journey isn't the worst thing that could happen, but succeeding without experiencing transformation might be. Have you ever feared failing or losing what you have so much that you resisted change and transformation, even when it was necessary for greater gains?
NEXTing as a strategy is necessary because change is not always accompanied by transition. Change is always happening around us, in spite of us, and sometimes to us or for us. Transition happens when we acknowledge, accept, and adapt to change. NEXTing is expecting, embracing, and experiencing change. How do you manage change? Are you ready for what’s next?
That’s so true. Pain can either stop you in your tracks or push you to grow—it really depends on how you deal with it. I’ve found that when you actually face what’s hurting instead of avoiding it, that’s when you start to move forward. It’s not easy, but for me that’s usually where the breakthrough happens.
