NEXTing involves acknowledging the things that are outside of your control and surrendering, with trust, to the plans of God for your life. Have you tried intentionally giving up your desire to control every aspect of your life, acknowledging that you cannot manage everything, and instead entrusting your plans, worries, and burdens to God?

Honestly, trying to control everything will wear you out real quick. At some point, you realize you just can’t manage it all—and that’s where I’ve learned to let go and put it in God’s hands. It’s not always easy, because my first instinct is to figure it out myself, but when I step back and trust Him, I find more peace than I ever could’ve created on my own.
